Sponsor an Artisan
Besides all of the “programs” that we are doing, we often just get a knock on the gate and a desparate situation. On any given week, the Apparent Project is offering medical help, assistance with rides to the hospital, paying rent for a mother with no way to pay it herself, distributing cooking supplies, replacing tents, or giving water at the door. It is crucial that we maintain the personal assistance that we have been called to, but these things also cost money! If you are interesting in sponsoring an artisan in temporary need of food, a tent, drinkable water, medical care, or some other emergency need, click on one of the artisan images to the right. You will be taken to a secure PayPal "subscription" page where you will be asked to confirm your $30 monthly payment.
These sponsorships are pooled into the Apparent Project general fund and used to provide emergency funding where it is most needed by our artisans. In the case that the funds are not needed for emergency situations by the end of the year, they will be rolled into covering feeding costs & rent for the artisan's facility.
