The Apparent Project's impact on the lives of the poor in Haiti is the fruit of an enormous team effort. The cereal boxes that create our signature beads are gathered by hundreds of people, both from within Haiti and abroad. Artisans collaborate their skills, with some making paper beads, others creating ceramic pieces, and designers putting it all together to create beautiful and unique jewelry. Each piece is then sold through retailers who foster income stability for the artisans we've trained , or through volunteer-hosted Jewelry Parties, which give the artisans a highter profit. Others sell fundraiser bracelets to bennefit both the artisans and their own causes. Facebook friends keep our designers inspired by providing us with insight into regional style trends or products they would like to see AP artisans create. Visiting service teams bring training and supplies

Our administrative staff in Haiti and the U.S. make sure everything is going where it needs to go, that supplies stay stocked, and that retailers' needs are met. Others commit to prayer or regular communication to encourage us in our work.
