Artisan Facilitator for Apparent Trade School
Job Description
- Provide a discipling/modeling relationship for Apparent Trade School artisans
- Teach artisans a skill such as painting, drawing, framing, woodworking,
sculpture, music production, graphic design, film, sewing, baking, or whatever
it is that you are good at and passionate about. (Keep in mind, it must earn
a poor Haitian a small but sustainable income).
- Supervise Trade school facilities to provide help to artisans, build relationships, and prevent theft or unecessary damage to trade tools and products.
- With help, photograph and post artisan products on the online store and explore new ways to improve products, presentation, and marketing for artisans.
- Fundraise/ sell goods to provide your own income
Necessary Qualifications
- Willingness to agressively learn Haitian Kreyol
- Some experience teaching others your skill or trade
- Humble, encouraging, and patient demeanor
